Great food. Zero business experience.
This place has the best Persian kabob the city has ever seen. The owners are very warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, they have pretty weak English skills, and that's probably a bit of a hurdle for non-Iranians. They also have no prior experience managing a restaurant, and make some pretty goofy mistakes as a result. For example, my party of eight was turned away at the door because they had "run out of food", despite the fact that we had made a reservation. Pretty simple stuff. I'm hoping they just need some time to settle in.
All in all, great food (if you can get it). -

Great Persian Kubideh. Lovely owners. They let us in even 30 mins after they closed because we were craving Persian kabobs.

4 starts cause it is delicious. Now I know there is better Persian food. But not in Winnipeg. Here in this city options are limited. But compared to my previous ranking of a Persian restaurant in Montreal it would be a 3.5-4. But again. We are in Winnipeg.
